This is a tremendous website, all dedicated to one quote from a 7’2″ Nigerian with a raspy voice. The story goes that Dikembe walked into a Georgetown bar one night, the entire place stopped to look at him, and in response, Mutombo just yelled out, “WHO WANTS TO SEX MUTOMBO?!”

Mutombo is not Nigerian. He’s from Zaire or more accurately the Democratic Republic of Congo

i think it’s true; i heard this story for the first time about 4 years ago from a friend of mine who went to temple. his roommate’s brother went to georgetown in the early 90s, and claimed that he was at a party one time and dikembe walked in, arms outstretched, and proudly asked, “who want to f*ck mutumbo?” i hope that earned him at least a handjob.
I have an acquaintance who is a freelance writer in Philly, and she did the gossip beat for one of the weeklies when Mutumbo played for the Sixers. According to her, our boy would make his entrance into the local strip clubs saying that exact line. I rolled my eyes when I heard that but I guess it’s true after all.
