I’m just going to cut and paste from the article, because I don’t want to exaggerate this. It really doesn’t require exaggeration.

The Pistons were still shaking their heads at what happened Thursday night as they were on their bus inside the loading-dock area of Conseco Fieldhouse.
It was between 11:30 and midnight and the Pistons’ bus was about to leave the arena for the airport.
Suddenly, a dark Escalade roared into the loading dock, nearly hitting several people.
Out jumped Ron Artest, the Pacers forward who got a seasonlong suspension for his part in the Nov. 19 brawl.
According to Pistons players on the bus, Artest was wearing an old (and short) pair of shorts. He had no shoes on and, upon getting out of the vehicle, he tore off his T-shirt.
Given the history between Artest and the Pistons, the team’s security officials were on high alert. But Artest made no motion toward the bus. He simply walked, bare-chested and bare-footed, into the building, presumably for a midnight workout.
“There’s something going on there,” Ben Wallace said, not wanting to comment further.

I can just shrug. That’s, um… a bit unusual. Who drives bare-footed? And why is he tearing off his t-shirt and the way in the building? And why are his shorts so short? And what the hell is he doing at Conseco at midnight, after the Pacers were eliminated?
I theorized that he wanted to show up and show some love for Reggie after his last game. But even if that’s the case, that leaves all but one of those questions unanswered. And why would it have taken him until midnight to come and do that? Did he forget there was a game that night?
Ah, the mystery of Ron Artest. The legend grows.

Haven’t seen this on ESPN.com yet..so I’m HOPING it’s maybe not true.
Otherwise, it’s time to ditch him like a psycho girlfriend. Get far away, change your locks, phone number and email address.
I’m starting to think that Artest for Peja swap everybody talked about last summer was a REALLY good idea.

If I was a Pacers fan, I’d be torn on trading Artest. I’m such a huge fan of his game… I think he’s one of the Top 10 players in the league, and you’re not going to get equal value for him in a trade. Best-case scenario, you get Paul Pierce or Peja for him, and I’d see that as a downgrade for the Pacers.
But at the same time, the Pacers are an organization built on stability and character. You can’t risk another incident like last year… I mean, this is a team that’s damn close to being championship caliber. Every time he does something crazy, the rest of the guys in the locker room have to be shaking their head, and you just can’t have that.
But I still doubt that they’ll move him.

I’ve waited faaaaaar too long to get a championship team and Indy…and both my teams are frustrating the hell out of me.
I’d love to see the Pacers chase down somebody like Ray Allen…they need somebody that can be a inside-outside threat with Jermaine….anyway, I thought Artest was going to have a breakout year last year. Didn’t happen. Only thing that kept this season worthwhile was the emergence of Dwayne Wade (I live in Miami now…the Heat fever is great). I find it funny how long it took the national media to catch on.
…and the Colts…well, we’ll start talking about football later.

Cmon Zork, Ray Allen? How will the Pacers afford a big free agent like that. here’s a mid level exception Ray, not going to happen. Unless the Sonics would want a balding white guy who travel everytime he dribbles. Or the Pacers can give the Sonics a guy who gets injured everytime the wind blows. Yes I said it, get rid of Croshere and Bender. 2 overpaid losers who will never help the cause. I know that deal is far fetched but, at least cut them or sue them for not playing up to their salaries. 7 mill for Austin and 6 for Bender if you didn’t know.
As far as the Colts, watch out as soon as they pick up a middle LB who can tackle. Or a secondary that can cover a guy for more than 3 seconds. Marlin Jackson is looking good, so I think they are a few years away from beating the Pats. You never know though, Peyton could actually get fired up for a game and beat them. Instead of looking like a schoolboy who got caught reading his Dad’s playboys. (reference to him getting spanked if you’re a slowhead bitch) Just had to spell it out for ya.
