With many thanks to Mister Irrelevant… here’s a movie trailer that you should check out. It’s for a movie where will Ferrell plays a NASCAR driver who has children named “Walker” and “Texas, Ranger.” That alone should be enough to make you want to see this movie.
It also stars John C. Reilly, Sacha Baron Cohen, Michael Clarke Duncan, David Koechner, and Chris Parnell. I don’t think I could be more excited about a movie if they announced that a fourth Godfather was in the works.

Two consecutive posts, both some of the most entertaining tidbits you’ve posted in recent memory. Excellent Bobby Knight wav. Excellent. Could not stop laughing.

C’mon now MJD, I love The Godfather saga as much as the next man but after the debacle that was part 3, how could you possibly want a part 4, at that point they should just combine it with Rocky 8 and Police Acadamy 37.

You’re right, 3 was pretty brutal… but I really think it was the result of some just disastrous casting decisions. I mean, it was never going to measure up to 1 or 2, in fact, Mario Puzo didn’t even want to call it The Godfather III, but the studio sorta made him. If I had seen it as a completely seperate movie, I’d probably have liked it more than I did. But anyway, if a 4th one did come out, I’d still have to go see it.

Yeah I probably would too. The reason 3 stunk was because Coppola wrote it with Puzo, they just made up a new story on the fly because they neede to pay rent and coppola needed to pay for acting lessons for his niece, she played the insest loving daughter of Mike Corleone. Nick cage is a Coppola too, he just changed his name, can’t blame him, aside from the godfather I can’t think of a good flick Coppola made.

The Bob Knight .wav was classic, but nothing will ever top the Earl Weaver radio clip MJD posted a few months ago.

I’m sure it was just an oversight, but Apocalypse Now isn’t a bad thing to have on the resume either, Big Boi.

you right, Apocalypse now is a good flick too. Fine 3 good movies, not the best resume for someone who’s been making films for 3 decades, once every ten years, I guess that might be ok depending on how one might spread them out.

I’m giddy like a schoolgirl. Will Farrell could read the phone book and be funny. This may quite possibly require me to wear some Depends or some “Oops, I Crapped My Pants.”
