Completely unrelated: Anyone know anything about CSS and whathaveyou? I tried to mess around with the blockquotes, and I kinda got them to do what I want… in Firefox, the box goes behind images, but in Internet Explorer, the box goes over top of the images, which is not good… anyone have any idea how I can fix that? If you can help, and you don’t mind, drop me a little e-mail… the address is down and to the left. I’d appreciate it.

Are you sure the St. Louis fountain wasn’t pink for breast cancer awareness? Philadelphia has a pink fountain downtown, too.
As far as your IE blockquote problem, try adding this to the end of your CSS file:
border-bottom: 1px solid #fff;

Re the “frothy walrus;” I had always called it the “angry dragon.”

Matt: The fountain may very well have been for breast cancer awareness… there was a big sign behind it, though, that said, “Go Cards.” So I just assumed…

mjd…do you think Steelers players were mad because…
a) LJ tackled him by the hair
b) After tackling him by the hair, he yanked him back up by his hair?
Seriously, think about it. You get back to me.

Actually, LJ’s penalty was for taunting, not for grabbing Polamalu by the hair. At least, that’s what CBS said a couple of minutes after it happened.

There was no reason to bring up the frothy walrus/angry dragon. I almost lost my job here. I had to make a quick excuse as to why I am laughing uncontrollably. Douchebag

Okay Jerloma, I thought about it, and since you asked so nicely, I’m ready to get back to you. Yes, I think the Steelers players might’ve been mad because Johnson pulled Polamalu up by the hair, and it was terrible of me not to specify which actual part of the hair-pulling they responded to. I offer a heartfelt apology, and did not mean to imply that any Pittsburgh Steeler has ever done anything wrong.

The point in downtown Pittsburgh is pink for Breast Cancer Awareness as well.
And apparently Larry Johnson’s penalty had nothing to do with the hair at all. It was instead because he tried to punch Ike Taylor in the face after the play was over.

Well, I laughed at the Lovitz/Lil’ Jon commercial–twice, actually.

Well mjd, they made Phillip Rivers look like Dan Fouts last week. That was wrong.
